GENERAL INFORMATION FOR PROGRAM ADVERTISING SALES

Carolina Elite Soccer Academy is in the process of organizing the twenty second annual Fall Soccer Classic to be held Sept 18^th and 19^th.  Last year this tournament registered 294 teams and our goal for this year is 300 teams.  This equates to approximately 5400 soccer players plus coaches, parents, families and friends.

An ad in our program will give advertisers a great deal of exposure during the weekend so when approaching potential advertisers be sure to point out that the team rosters, game schedules, field directions and maps are printed in the program and that the ads are interspersed with them to encourage people to look through it. Also mention the programs are not sold, but complimentary to ALL players.  Suggest, if applicable, a coupon offering discounts to anyone bringing in a copy of the ad.  Show them last year’s program, (copies are available at the office or from Carol Leonard).  Advertising prices are as follows:

 
                        Full Page including a link on our website to customer’s website - $300

                        (customer will need to provide a graphic logo and their web address)

                                    Full Page  -    $225.00            Half Page -  $125.00

                                    1//4 Page  -    $ 75.00              1/8 Page   -  $ 50.00

“Friends of Soccer”page (listing of company or individual name only) - $25.00.

Teams can purchase a full page team ad for $168.75.

Teams can purchase a half page team ad for $93.75.

 
Most of your prospective advertisers will have an ad they have used before either in the newspaper or other programs of this type.  Ask them to give you camera-ready art, if possible, which can also be emailed to carolleonard@charter.net in PDF or JPG format.  If they need an ad designed we can do that for them. Call Carol at (864) 268-3147 if you have a question or need help!  Restaurants and hotels are excellent prospective advertisers because of the number of people the tournament brings to Greenville.

Once they have purchased the ad, collect a check made payable to Carolina Elite Soccer Academy and turn the ad copy, check and signed advertising contract into your Team Advertising Coordinator or to Carol Leonard.  DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ADS IS AUGUST 16th.  All money should be turned in with the advertising contract unless you have contacted Carol Leonard and made other arrangements. All advertising money must be turned into Carol by Dec 1, 2010 or you will lose credit for the unpaid ad.

In the event that two different people sell an ad to the same advertiser, the first ad turned in to Carol with payment attached will receive the credit.  If payment accompanies both ads we will run two ads and both teams/people will receive credit.
