Former CESA Players Selected to ALL- South Atlantic Conference Teams

The South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Women’s Soccer coaches have selected their All- Conference teams for the 2011 season and CESA products have made quite an impression on the league this year.

Former CESA players from Anderson University ( Kaitlyn Neipp and Allie Waters), Catawba College ( Anna Toole), Mars Hill University ( Grace Lancaster) and Newberry College ( Cassie Smith and Mary Stanton) have been honored with their slections to the All-Conference teams.

Kaitlyn Neipp ( Goalkeeper withSchool Record 7 Shutouts) was named to the All-Conference 1st Team and Allie Waters ( Midfielder with 6 Goals including 2 Game Winners) was named to the All-Conference 2nd Team representing Anderson University.

Anna Toole of Catawba College is a defender who was named to the All-Conference 2nd team. 

Grace Lancaster is a freshman defender at Mars Hill University and had 1 goal and 1 Assist as she garnered All-Conference 2nd team honors.

In addition Newberry College had both Cassie Smith and Mary Stanton selected to the All-Conference 2nd team. Stanton had 11 Goals and 3 Assists with 4 Game Winning Goals. Smith had 3 Goals and 5 Assists during the regular season.

The SAC Women's Tournament semi-finals are being held at Manchester Meadows Complex on November 4-6.
