Cole Seiler Enters U.S. Soccer's Residency Program.

Cole Seiler who plays for our CESA 93 Boys Premier Team was invited and has entered the U.S. Soccer Residency Program based in Bradenton, Florida. U.S. Under-17 National Coach Wilmer Cabrera has brought in 21 newcomers as the US will soon begin qualification matches for the upcoming Under 17 World Cup.

Cabrera stated, " We tried to find a group of players with a chance to compete for a spot in these important tournaments. We found some under the radar players who bring a different type of experience to our team, including one player who was part of a professional environment at Chivas de Guadalajara, so it is a good blend. It is very important that we are all focused on training and competing at a higher level. That will help us during qualifying, which is just a few months away, and we have 40 players we think will help our team succeed."

Cole left for Bradenton last week and is studying and training at the residency program headquarters. Here at CESA we all wish him well and have no doubt he will continue to have success both on and off the soccer field
