The Brittany Corgan Memorial Scholarship is available to college bound high school senior soccer players (girls and boys) who are currently playing at the select or classic level at Carolina Elite Soccer Academy.

 

The Brittany Corgan Scholarship is a one-time grant of $3000.00. The grant is made payable to the recipient’s college of choice. There will be one scholarship given annually.

 

All applicants must have an overall Grade Point Average of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent on another scale).

 

 

The recipient of this award will be one who exemplifies Brittany’s character both on and off the field. Scholarship applicants will be judged on their passion for soccer, character, soccer achievements, academic performance and community involvement. There will be no consideration placed on race, color, creed, nationality, sex or religious preference.

 

All applications must be completed and postmarked no later than November 18, 2011 and mailed to the following address:

The top five applicants will be notified by December 15 and will be invited for a personal interview by the scholarship committee in early January.
